WE SUSTAIN TECHNOLOGY

Aura, leaders in spent catalyst recycling technology.

Welcome to Aura in Helbra

Aura Technology have been leaders in environmentally friendly and innovative processing and recycling of metal-containing materials for over 20 years.

Our primary focus the extraction of metals including molybdenum, tungsten, vanadium, nickel, cobalt from spent oil refinery catalysts procured from around the globe.

We have spent a long time perfecting our full-loop recycling chain covering all services including deliveries, logistics, legal documentation and importing, to processing materials and shipping back out to our customers.

The company’s headquarters are based in Helbra, in the district of Mansfeld-Südharz, we are continuing a centuries-old tradition in the region, which originated from the mining and processing of valuable metals.

In the „Hundertacker“ commercial area, we operate state-of-the-art production facilities with a wide range of resource-saving and environmentally friendly processing methods available.

This enables us to supply customers in the steel and chemical industries worldwide with important raw materials, which in turn are obtained from metal-containing residues from the crude oil and chemical industries from all over the world.

We feel committed to the region and tradition and employ more than 50 people at the site. Our own education and training are the focus of permanent qualification for us, if you’re interested in joining Aura, look at our available jobs here.

WE GET RECYCLING TECHNOLOGY

The limited availability of natural resources presents us as a society with ever growing challenges. In particular, the use of transition metals enables the development of novel technologies that would otherwise not be economically and ecologically feasible without the use of these metals.

Aura makes an indispensable contribution to closing various material cycles by offering our customers products that are primarily obtained by processing metal-containing residues from the chemical and mineral oil industries.

At the same time, we offer ourselves as a reliable partner for the disposal of these residues at the producers. Since this can be hazardous waste, we also show problem solutions for a large number of different market segments.

Our contribution to recycling important industrial transition metals not only conserves natural resources, but also opens up long-term future prospects for existing technologies.
